This is the area in which we plan to aid in the church plant and work with the Youth.

     
  This is a traditional Thai fishing boat that landed next to a house about 1 1/2 miles in from the ocean. The Thai Government plans to establish a Tsunami museum here at this location.

We have purchased the building and land next to this to plant the church and youth facility.

     
  A coastal resort which shows how high the wave came in from the tide line.

 

This resort held 250 people, all of which were lost.

     
  The group from U-turn for Christ began ministering in the area of Baan Muang, the refugee camp where the displaced people of Baan Nam Khem went.

They were given this tent to serve the people. It is the only known Christian ministry area in all of the 20 camps along the coast. They have received tremendous favor from the camp organizers and continue to see people receive Christ and be discipled.

  Receiving names from the people of Baan Nam Khem who were desiring that the churches back in the states pray for them. They eagerly gave there identification cards to insure we would pray.
     
  James Garwood is one of the men living in the Camp at Baan Muang working with the kids. He arrived in the area a week after the disaster and has been serving there since. He has an incredible gift for servingthe kids.

We are continuing to look for gentle and loving people to come to serve the Thai people.
